Adult and world seemed to be repeated frequently throughout the text.
Strands of words that carried negative connotations like punishment, torture and failure helped to define the idea of dystopia and set the tone.
A binary that was common was between children or teenagers and adults.
These strands of words clearly describe dystopia. They directly relate to the binary between adults and non-adults because Miller describes how each age group appeals to dystopia. Miller could also be playing off of the common gap between the age groups and relating it to the distinct differences in today's society with dystopic societies.
Miller points out that these dystopias that relate kids and teens are written by adults. Furthermore, it could be said that adults that are guiding the teens and their interests into these stories. This would bridge the gap between adults and the younger people because the adults are influencing the readers.
