1. How do pieces of dystopian literature use secrecy?

3. This article at first speaks of how these pieces of literature have to have secure sides, not allowing anyone to leave or enter. It then goes on to say that the defining feature of these dystopias is the secrecy. It talks about how there is something the people living there aren't supposed to know. It also states that there are multiple reasons why they use this. 
4. This relates to my inquiry question because it specifically speaks on the fact that dystopias use secrecy. In the Maze Runner there is a lot of secrecy. The characters have their memories erased and even in the end they never know what is really happening.
