Victoria Lipinski Blog Post 8

1. Inquiry Question: How do representations of dehumanization within societies in dystopian works represent issues in popular culture?

2. Chizmar, Paul. "Miranda's Dream Perverted: Dehumanization in Huxley's Brave New World." Electronic Thesis or Dissertation. Kent State University, 2012. OhioLINK Electronic Theses and Dissertations Center. 16 Nov 2015.

3. This article analyzes Brave New World and how it represents dehumanization within a dystopian society. It discusses how the population consists of emotionless, non-individual humans that are controlled by the government. It is run by the World State, which rules over the entire world. The article connects how this piece of dystopian work connects to others through the common theme of dehumanization.

4. This speaks to my inquiry question because it discusses the force of dehumanization within dystopian worlds.
