For Section 3 I have decided to work with the movie "Edge Of Tomorrow" directed by Doug Liman. This movie is about Major William Cage who is an officer in a war against invincible aliens. When he goes into war he dies within minutes and for some reason he is thrown into a time loop. In this time loop he keeps on reliving the same war and his death over and over again. However Cage meets a women named Rita who knows what's happening to him. Together they devise a plan to win the war against the invincible aliens.
I think this will fit my interest because it combines futuristic warfare with aliens. It also has a very strong female lead in Rita which reflects my Essay 2 argument about feminism. Rita is a very capable character who is able to compete at a higher level than any other soldier in the army. This combined with her dominant persona make her a great character to reflect on.
