By now you should have performed “The Method” on Moylan's, Wolmark’s, and Williams’s articles. Picking two of the three articles, identify at least 3 overlaps in binaries, strands, or repetitions and list them below. This may require that you return to the articles and investigate binaries and strands you haven’t noticed before.
In the second part of this post, choose one binary, strand, or repetition to elaborate on. Next, in at least three sentences, explain how each author deals with this theme differently. You can draw on tone (is the writing optimistic? Skeptical? Critical? Formal, informal?), audience (who does this article seem to be written for/speaking to?), and cultural moment (what sort of examples does the writer draw upon - popular, academic, serious, literary? What era is the author writing in?) to help you sort out differences.
