Wolmark Vs. Williams

The binary of Male vs. Female is analyzed very heavily in both Wolmark and Williams papers. Wolmark discusses that there is a significant difference in the gender roles of dystopian works. She then explains how feminist science fiction is challenging these roles and thus changing the preconceived notions that are apparent in dystopian works about women. Williams on the other hand agrees that there is a difference in gender roles in dystopian literature but he doesn't mention that changing at all.
