A repetition from these articles is how they show the origin
of their claims and how they evolved over time.
Both Williams and Wolmark seem to be using history and
traditions as the base of their arguments. Both give concrete evidence of how
art has been manipulated by western thought (Williams) and how there has been a
vast majority of males who seem to have a monopoly in writing dystopian novels.
At first Williams negatively criticizes western thought, but then goes on to commend
the cinema for its great accomplishments in being able to portray a multitude
of creative thought. Wolmark is negatively critical for most of the article,
then gives light to the successes of the feminist writing movement.
