Moylan and Williams discuss the political and social aspects
of dystopia. Moylan describes how the ideas and plots in dystopian novels are
created from an exaggeration of fears from the twentieth century. This is an example
of Moylan discussing society and a fear of policy. Moylan and Williams discuss
the relevance of humanity. Differing, Williams discusses the effect of film in
modern literacy. He goes on to compare many other binaries. These includes art,
framing and symbolizing, film v. art, and creativity with imagination. However,
as Moylan is discussing the fears of the twentieth century future, William’s
uses much more modern interpretations of things in works, including films.
