Moylan and Williams

Both Moylan and Williams both utilize the repetition of "negative" and negative words to describe their definition of a dystopian society. Williams simply states that dystopias are "negative utopias", versions of the "future" that are brought about only from ones nightmares. Moylan discusses how dystopias use negative means to present "utopian possibilities" in a dystopian society, rather than stating that dystopias are simply negative utopias.
